Should be some good games, I know its only the Carling and there will be some reserves out but decent games there.

Should be a gud 'un tonight between Arsenal's kids and City. I'd love to see City crash and burn, they're desperate for silverware and this is their only real chance. I think the first goal will be crucial, if it's City then I can imagine the Arsenal youth team have fragile confidence.

This Carling Cup blog on Manchester City vs Arsenal reckons that they are creative enough to score anyway. I'm not so sure, Given is a fine keeper. One thing's for sure, if Adebayor scores all hell will break loose. We'll see if any of the young players have a fiery temperament or penchant for rash challenges.

Instead of being the joke it was once considered, clubs are paying this competition a lot of respect, a piece of silverware is something for fans to cheer but is more importantly something for more and more managers to hold off board pressure with. There is no surprise Villa, Spurs and City are still in it (T.O.W) after all three have seen big money go again this summer.
