You are getting a bit excited here. This all stems from various posters saying that our players had got the last 4 managers sacked by downing tools, nothing to do with Chelsea or Gareth Bale. I disagreed with them as I cannot think of one EVERTON player who has done this or why they would do so, I asked for examples, none were given. You seem to be confusing NOT VERY GOOD/OUT OF FORM FOOTBALLER with DOWNING TOOLS TO GET THE MANAGER SACKED.

We shall agree to disagree, even though I'm right. I am not going round in circles, you have dug your heels in on your point and I'm correct so no point carrying on my good man.

Did you actually watch that clip of Schneiderlein doing the rounds from Sunday where he walked about, ran away from the ball, then lay down within 10 yards of Jones while he scored.

Please tell me again how you are so convinced these players all try their very best every single week.

I think it depends what you class as 'downing tools' really. I don't think many players deliberately start playing worse in order to get a manager sacked, it would be a very very risky strategy for them and could effectively end their careers. It's undeniable that players may not play as well as they can do if they're unhappy though, same as all of us. They're only human, if they hate turning up to work every day or have gone a bit stale at the same club, they won't be producing their best work.

Apparently they do. Nearly every footballer past or present will tell you otherwise but some dude on the interwebs disagrees.

I'm not making a list,it's endless. Player power rules these days, not the club like it used to be. If a player wants out he will down tools(or whatever simile you want to call it).

I find it bizarre that you don't think this goes on. Player gets refused transfer...downs tools(Except Gana). Players can't get moves because wages are too high but doesn't want to play(Gareth Bale anybody). It happens. You're daft if you think players aren't egocentric narcissists.

Just to be clear, Gueye downed tools in one sense when he refused to play at Huddersfield away because he was told he wasn't leaving in Jan.

Apart from that, model pro

Hes done that for months, some would say years though. And we all agree, he is no longer a prem footballer for whatever reason.

Other than Schneids who we have discussed for months and gylf who although having a mare, still covers more ground than practically any other blue, then ye, they all put a shift in. Basically schneids is bringing the club down and getting mangers sacked.?

They are not though,if Klopp managed this team it would be much better than where it is now.
Who knows?

It is entirely speculative but given the brutal way he removed Karius from proceedings after the madrid final the question would never arise our serial failures would have felt the wrath of his assassination squad during his first teeth whitening session with the bodies buried under Runcorn bridge.

Hopefully Carlo will arrange the same when his grey highlights are touched up.

True, he doesn't have poor players in his side but I think thats the way he coaches them. He gets the best out of everyone, even Henderson.
