Does nobody else remember Silva saying something to the effect of "it's very easy to create a crisis at Everton." but when pushed to explain why he said it wasn't his place to say. Unless I dreamed that I'm thinking it's in reference to some of the cretins we have in our team.

Also I think because of the dysfunctionality of the boardroom, especially with Moshiri throwing money at those whom should not have money thrown at, and Kenwright insinuating himself to no good end.

Silva had glaring weaknesses. It's good for the team he's gone. Nevertheless I'm sure he's sitting somewhere sipping a nice single malt, and looking at this, and allowing himself a wry little grin, and thinking "so you all thought that the problem was * me *, eh?....."

Davies skinning Gylfi, Delph dispossessing Davies, Kean doing some silly scissor like penalty nonsense.

Looks like we will be right on it come Saturday.

Or something completely different

It says it all about these group of players he’s working with that they can’t even raise their game for a quality manager like him in one of our biggest games of the season against our local rivals who were playing kids. Must be thinking what a bunch of ungrateful, lack lustre, ambition-less wasters he’s working with.

I guarantee all but schneids will up their game in the coming weeks. Sunday was just a weird one.

Sigurdsson. The rest half arsed it or just weren’t good enough.

Only 3/4 players in the squad who have consistently worked hard and put in the effort.
Sygs covered more ground than anyone mate. He may have been very poor but half arsed he aint!

One bottler in the whole team.

The covering more ground shout isn’t a valid excuse for Sigurdsson’s ‘performances’ been hearing this all season with him. We paid £50m for him. He made more passes to Pickford than he did to Richarlison or Calvert Lewin on Sunday. If we wanted a player who runs around all day we’d have been better off keeping hold of James McCarthy, at least that lad got stuck in and didn’t crap himself out of challenges or hide when we were in a battle.
