Good point the problem we have faced ever since Barkley left, to an extent Naismith even Cahill, is we don't really have somebody behind the striker supporting the attacks. I remember us playing Chelsea a few seasons ago under Allardyce, the ball being played to Calvert Lewin and Sigs was about 40 50 yards behind him, when he should of been 10 years behind him. In the past we had Felaini who could support the attack as well, but also drop into defensive midfield as well. We do need a properly mobile defensive midfielder, but also a proper attacking midfielder somebody like Neves. I doesn't seem like any of our signings have been well thought out, why we signed about 4 players who play in exactly the same position I don't know. The problem is we have far too much deadwood at Everton, the Snide, Sigs. Walcott, Davies, too a lesser extent Pickford and Mina. I really don't know how we've ended up buying such rubbish. The irony being that if we had played kids in the middle that they would have had more desire and movement than siggurdson and schniederlin.
I have probably posted on here over and over again about them two but they were the root cause of everything. They were the players the defense were passing to, they were the ones meant to win the ball in midfield.
I remember when we used to isolate Lukaku in a Derby match and hoof it 50 yards to him. Didn't think I'd see a game where we isolated 4 players.
Schniederlin is done for me at this club. No question about that , I rarely ever turn on a player, can't even recall any others I have turned on. Called them crap for sure and not good enough but morgan has to go. Siggurdson has to leave by the summer but you hope he is a half decent sub further up the pitch.
This club needs to have a zero tolerance if we want to succeed under ancelotti. So if a player is not playing with desire to be on that pitch in our shirt then they need to go and make examples of them.
I actually like the way he stops and thinks before he speaksIts great being able to enjoy PC's again. I like listening to every word he says. Oozes of confidence, awareness and professionalism.

Or fat boy with his coffee and I’m here forever...Yep and after the brief pause for thought, he actually talks sense and on topic and not just side stepping waffle like some of our previous numpties.

That’s how he is.. what’s the point in publicly outing so many players just to find you need them next weekAside from a few exceptions, I can't think of a less deserving group of players.
