I can imagine Carlo walking out after the press conference looking at Duncan, throwing his eyes to heaven asking have you any idea what I just said because I just gave them the first bit of rubbish that came into my head.... all of this said in an Italian accent of course.

It was an exercise in stonewalling, it could not be otherwise.
I would guess there were some very strong used by all sides in the last week.
but that will be kept in house.
The team tomorrow will give us an indication of just how unhappy Ancelotti is.
I didn't notice if he was asked about any other possible outgoing transfers.

Nah I'm one of the people that wanted to point out Carlo saying "he's good at heading the ball" wasn't just a throwaway pleasant comment.
What else is he going to compliment, his Instagram filters?

At DCLs age Glenn Murray was in the depths of league 2 with no league goals to his name. Try harder
And Emile Heskey was winning a treble and keeping Teddy Sheringham out of the England team.

Players don't get incrementally better each year until they reach their Football Manager peak age. Some hit their ceiling earlier than others.

And at this stage you've no idea what DCLs ceiling is.
And heskey wasn't keeping Sheringham out of the England team, stop making stuff up

You can never say for certain, but I've seen enough of him to guess that he isn't likely to develop the skill, touch and eye for goal that are missing from his game.

He's tall and mobile, and can be a handful in a physical battle when motivated. There's only so far you can go with those attributes.

No way to reason with you ,you know it and that is the end of it .Please stop pushing it down everyone else's throats now .We all know it YOU DON'T RATE HIM .
Now you can do some knitting , mind you don't tangle the wool though .

His goals scoring this season alone suggests he hasn't reached his ceiling lol
