I think you’re highly underestimating just how much of a crap team we have at the moment and how big of a job it is keeping these players performing consistently week in week out when none of them have the desire or motivation to pull on the shirt and put in a shift week in week out, or at least perform to the standard requirements of whats expected of a professional premier league footballer. What we have is a team of individuals, who are unmotivated, have no desire or passion to progress as players or as part of a team. We have too many players on big wages who are happy to churn out half arsed performances week in week out because they don’t have to try. As an example, If you were a footballer (any age)and you’d spent most of your career playing at Arsenal finishing 4th/5th in the league and playing Champions League or Europa League and then Everton, with no European football, where expectations are reduced and standards aren’t as set as high came calling to double your salary, knowing you’re taking a drop in standard why would you have the desire to try anymore? You wouldn’t and that’s what we are seeing at this club with most of these overpaid rats.
Some of these meffs have churned out the same performances under 4 different managers now and they’re still at it. That tells you all you need to know about the calibre and mind set of players within this team.

End of season mate, some players take pride in giving 100% regardless of whether there is sometihng to play for, That's just in their DNA. Others dont care, soon as there is nothing to play for they just swan around. Peter Crouch said in his podcast i think, stoke had basically survived, last game or two of the season and while they went to try and win, admitted that ultimately he and others were distracted by holidays.
It is what it is, hopefully it will be the last game for the majority of these players soon enough

How do you motivate a midfield who can't do Football basics.
If I was a Villa player I would be relishing a game against Everton. You don’t have to work to get the ball, we give it to you and you know you aren’t in for a hard time because our players don’t care.
Its good that these players are showing their true colours rather than the usual papering over huge cracks in meaningless end of season matches.

When our team is as humiliatingly bad as this, and the well respected Coleman says the attitude and will is not there in the players, you know there is only one way we are going and that is downwards. If this is not fixed for next season, EFC fans can be merciless and Carlo will not survive for long. I do not know what kind of manager can turn these turds into decent footballers. I doubt he can, so a big injection of quality players is required and quick. We have bought so much garbage and indulged in the pretence that resident players are good enough so we are where we are.

When you see pictures of T-rex pulling tongues at the camera after making his 201649274939 howler of thr season it shows how much the players have respect. Not only for the manager, the shirt they are wearing or biggest of all the fans it says to me doesn't matter what carlo does this shower of [Poor language removed] need outing and Carlo has done that today! Carlo gets a free pass regardless of what people may think of that. Once he has the players he wants and trusts then if this happens he deserves [Poor language removed] but not atm not one player is his!

It’s fine to be critical about any of our managers or players, I will be the first one to do that, but people calling him out and giving it the “he’s not immune from criticism” shouts have yet to actually give a valid opinion as to why he bares responsibility for 1) picking the group of players he only has available to him who are a gang of duds and 2) being able to make them physically put in the required performances week in week out.
