That's the big deal. Coleman laid it on the like in the interview - if you're not giving it all for this manager you're done.

Carlo is a nice guy. He's not ruthless and he'll give you a chance. But if you aren't getting to where he wants you, you're out

It baffles me that there are 5 or 6 of this bunch will know they're auditioning for their jobs with a manager who wants to take the club places and has done it all and are still phoning it in.

I’m starting to worry, we’re playing with less creativity than under allardyce and less passion than under silva....what’s going on? Same players at the club not long ago were playing with fight under big Dunc for a few games but seemed to have lost motivation now, really strange one. Is the no fans at games taking the edge out?

Let’s face it. If we’d have had a manager come in with no reputation and his teams were serving up this, we’d be calling for his head. Without a shadow of a doubt. I really like Ancelotti and it was a coup for Everton to have got him. However, he needs to prove all over again that he can be a success. I don’t care about him winning the champions league years ago with teams that are used to winning things. In my opinion, no manager is bigger than the club and he needs to prove to us, his reputation isn’t just a reputation. We need to see improvement, ideas and some passion from our team. Which we certainly aren’t getting now. The pressures on Ancelotti here make no mistake. He was sacked from Napoli and his tenure there wasn’t deemed successful. I mean coming here, we just have to see a bit of fight and some willing and we’re happy. Something your manager should be instilling. He without doubt needs this window but I can’t see a huge influx of players and I worry that it seems even this bunch of lazy players can serve up two games for big Duncan but no one else it seems

If dunc was still in change someone’s teeth would be spread across the dressing room floor after that performance

Given what Carlo has said after today's game about the 'attitude' and 'spirit' of the players being "unacceptable" it is hopeful he has now gained an eye opening insight into the individuals he has inherited.

This was a quote from him when he took over this gang of sh**houses
"Learning about the players’ character is the most important part of my job"

You surely found your answers today Carlo.

If you’re questioning Ancelotti at this point you want your head testing.

He’s got a bloody awful and sub standard squad contains David Moyes era players onwards, and that has nothing to play for and has had an interrupted season.

We’re lucky to have him and he’ll begin to get it right as the months go on after this season is over.

He’s been here six months, what did you want him to do, win the Champions League by now?

Give the guy a chance. It’s not rocket surgery.

Oh captain, my captain.

It is incredible , suprising , worring whatever word you want , that even Carlo hasn't got a tune out of this lot.
No one will get a tune out of this lot apart from 2 or 3 players the rest of them are toxic and need shoving out the door.carlo will need time to sort this jumble of a squad out .

Although I’d expected more performance wise if not results wise, we have to give Carlo every chance with HIS players. Not this bunch of mercenaries who only care about their pay packet and not their professional pride. I suspect many know they won’t be here next season, but Carlo has little option but to play them.

I don't think I believe the statement made recently about Ancelotti not having to sell to buy. If he has been told by the board that he needs to sell to buy, then I wouldn't expect him to tell the media that that's the case. With the amount of money that's been spunked on dross, it seems clear to me that he does need to sell to buy.

When he parted ways with Napoli it was said he planned to have an extended stay in Canada with his wife.

He could've done that and known that within the next 18 months a Champions League team from one of the top league's in Europe would've come calling and paid him good money.

He chose to come to Everton. A team that has for the most part underperformed for 30 years. He's an intelligent man who's already earned all the money he'll ever need. I don't believe he would've joined us if he didn't believe he'd be given a genuine opportunity to make us a top side. That gives me hope.
