2019/20 Carlo Ancelotti

I really don’t get how out of a squad of 19 there’s only 1 defensive midfielder and he has given him 0 mins. Sure he might be crap but give him a run for 20 mins and see.

Ancelotti has clearly been a top manager. The thing is he isn't a manager who goes in and builds a team. His greatest quality is his man management. He is a safe pair of hands who players like and who gets players to play for him.

The harsh reality is that his last three managerial appointments at Madrid, Bayern and Napoli he saw the team regress. That regression resulted in Carlo being sacked on all three occasions.

Carlo is very likeable, but I am not sure he is the ideal candidate to turn around our fortunes. Tactically he is quite outdated and the Bayern players raised serious doubts about the lack of intensity in his training methods, with players even resorting to creating their own secret training sessions.

Today he complained about the player's attitude, unfortunately for Carlo it is up to the manager to set the tone and create a winning mentality and attitude.
Understandable but Madrid, Bayern & Napoli are on a far greater scope than we are. Who else were we to get? We tried the young manager approach (Martinez & Silva) and we tried the renowned ex-superstar player (Koeman).

Carlo was always the right option, it's just the unfortunate case of bad timing. He won't get the same investment as the previous managers because we wasted so much money.

Carlo is a world class manager, that's not debatable in the slightest. Whether he's right for Everton is still up in the air. He's always been an "arm around the shoulder" manager. He's absolutely disgusted with more then 60% of this squad. Theres no amount of "arm around the shoulder" that is going to fix a single thing with these pieces of crap. I've always loved Carlo, I hope he gets his way and every one of these wasters are shown the door as soon as possible.

I've not got a great deal of time for anyone questioning Ancelotti right now. Two things make me consider a bright future.
One, to explain poor performances these lollygaggers and dullards are already on the beach (quarantine notwithstanding) and two, the majority have been told that their 'services' will not be required next season. You're a coddled multi-millionaire but you can't raise your game for CARLO BLEEDING ANCELOTTI? I've seldom been angrier at a team.

If we don’t back CA and get the team right we could be finished as a club for years. He is one if the worlds top managers, and if “fails” no one else of note will even look to manage us.

We are a perennial mid table club. The only way we can possibly attract the quality players we desperately need is to throw money at them...OR...play the Ancelotti card. He will attract players that would never consider us. Ancelotti is the best signing we’ve made in decades.

Leicester and Wolves are both challenging for Europe this season. Spurs moved from where we are to regular top 4 under Pochettino. It can be done, it just takes good recruitment and the right manager. We’ve got a good manager now, just need to give him time to cull these players. In the past they’d be confident they could get the manager fired. Not with this one. They know he’s untouchable. The game is up for a lot of them.

Think i said the same earlier. It beggars belief. I think the only ones you can say have consistently put the effort in (on the field, I can't comment on training) recently have been Digne, Holgate, Keane, Coleman, Gordon, Richarlison and DCL. That's effort, I'm not commenting on ability.

Now more then ever we need to give this manager our backing. I'd be saying this if we had Arteta or stuck with Big Dunc or even if we still had Silva at this point. The problem is the players now and has been for years. The amount of arguments I've had over Martinez, Koeman, BFS, Rhino, Silva ect makes me sick now. It's always been those rats on the pitch, they have dragged this club though the mud time and time again and I've had enough of it. If Anchelotti does nothing else in the remainder of his contract then totally revamp this team to the point that in four years time there isn't a single player remaining that was in during 19-20 and prior and the new players actually care about the club or at least have some professional pride then I'll be satisfied. I've had enough short term thinking from the club, we've been embarrassing garbage for years, if we have to be like that for one year more or two to actually be decent by year three then it's worth it as far as I'm concerned. Anything is better then stumbling from disaster to disaster and sacking after sacking. Ffs blues get behind the Don!
