Well done Jamie Carragher for facing up to your critics. The guy was a blue nose as a youngster, and whilst he went over to the dark side to pursue his career, only the meanest of spirits would deny he's an honest pro.

Having said that I hope he has the two worst games of his career against us next season!!!! :lol: :lol:
 

I have to admit. nice one carra. I truly respect this guy as a person and a player. Ultimate professional, may even go so far as to call him a warrior of football. Just a shame who he plays for.

I dont like Carragher as a player but thought he seemed like a normal scouse lad.

is that love as in a man loving a man, a man loving a dog, or the way a man loves a beer? I really need to know before I admit to any confessions or unwittingly out chico again?
 
what a load of sentimental tosh, footballers get criticised all the time in the media.

I agree with the guy, why "retire" at all, who knows what will happen, it sounds like carragher has bottled it and decided to take away the choice of the England manager because not getting picked is becoming more painful.

I love it how he says "come down to anfield on a CL night".... what you need 40,000 swedish blokes backing you up do ya?
 
Yeah Rob, a certain Lee Carsley retired from international football to concentrate on his club career. We reaped the rewards from that. It is his choice to make, so everyone should leave him to make it. (And, TBH I wouldn't want to be associated with a team run by Stevie Mac)
