I was one of the ones who laughed at Mitrovic back in the summer, but now I fully agree that he'd do well here.I wrote this back in August:

He was the player we needed. And given that Silva worked with forwards like that at Watford, I dont know why we weren't in for him. He'd have been a cult hero here by now, IMO.
Loved LD.

When was the last time Tosun looked like scoring? Our fans go way OTT with how bad some players are.

I don't think he's top quality but he is a lot better than what we have. He is what he is, basically a better version of Troy Deeney, but I think the fight and flashpoints he produces are what the Goodison atmosphere thrives on.Think he´s very limited tbh. Alright when you´ve got a team penned on (how many times do we have that?) but utterly useless in the other aspects of the game.
I'd have to really disagree with that. He's incredibly passive as a player, nothing like Deeney who is a general pain in the backside and a handful to mark. Niasse is much more likely to get the crowd going as he chases everything and flings himself around. Tosun looks so lethargic every time he's on the pitch, he's the type of player that the crowd hates when we're behind because he slows things down when everyones trying to speed things up.I don't think he's top quality but he is a lot better than what we have. The loudest I heard Goodison last year, derby aside, was the Lyon game after fat Ashley launched the Lyon keeper into the stands. That was quickly stamped out with a dodgy goal 5 minutes later. The players being hostile on the pitch makes the fans follow suit and that is a good thing for us as long as it doesn't go too far.

Ah my fault I should have read further back! In that case I totally agree.Do you think I'm on about Tosun?
Sorry mate I meant Mitrovic, probably should've used his name in the post.
Nah Tosun is crap imo.
Best thing our forever pointing captain did was to launch into CR7 really got the crowd going.I don't think he's top quality but he is a lot better than what we have. Mitrovic is aggressive and has decent movement. He was and is head and shoulders above any of our strikers.I was one of the ones who laughed at Mitrovic back in the summer, but now I fully agree that he'd do well here.
A broken clock is right twice a day mate. Don't let the success go to your head, wouldn't want you to end up like Englands number 1.Mitrovic is aggressive and has decent movement. He was and is head and shoulders above any of our strikers.
Still, I was wrong to suggest him.....
