You've probably noticed a few sudden changes on GrandOldTeam.

Having purchased a few pieces of software, we did hope to revamp the entire site in time for next season but unfortunately we're having to wait for the developers behind the purchased software to get to grips with stability and introduce a few items before we can go ahead. So for now, rather than attempting to polish a turd, we've rolled it in glitter.

Appearence.

Forum Width: My fancy statistic machine tells me more and more of you lot have fancy big monitors. Long gone are the days of 800x600 screen resolution monitors so to cater, we've increased the forum width to 95%, rather than restricting it to a set pixel width. In other words, the forums are now wider. Some of you won't like it - as a rule of thumb, Evertonians don't like change - but you're all fickle and you'll forget what the old one looked like by the end of the week.

Navigation Bar: After comprehensive research conducted on post match analysis in our match day threads, we came to the conclusion that the majority of our readers, as many as 88% are visually impaired so we've kindly made the navigation bar more defined. We did consider removing the 'New Posts' link to render Reidy's Bottle Of Grecian useless, but decided against having to listen to his whinging.

Header:
It's not the best really, is it? It does it's job though - it'll be improved... one day.

We've also added a few sections to the site, located in the 'Information' and 'The Site' drop down menus;

Latest EFC News: An Everton news feed. Over time we can manipulate this feed to include only sources the membership would like. Feel free to suggest changes

Diary of Events: We thought it would be an idea to have a section of the site that keeps everyone informed of upcoming Everton events. An automatic reminding system via the calendar saves me the tedious task of reminding you all.

Supporter Clubs: chicoazul has volunteered to travel the globe to write this section. He will be rating each one with pasties.

Visitors Guide: Does as it says on the tin, a visitors guide to Liverpool. Still in production but you’ll get an idea. Still under construction….

All areas are ongoing. They were intended for the new GrandOldTeam but since it's emerged that it's probably about a year away - we thought we'd throw them on now and let Ghost tell us whats wrong on his mac so we can improve for the next release.

Sorry, but the top bit is pissing me off.

Apart from that, it looks alright. The new post thing on the front page doesnt really fit though.

Appreciate the work though.

Here is what mine looks like. On firefox on a laptop. Is that what you were aiming for? Looks fine to me, I'm not fussy.
