I don't like posting with the username Tim Howard, because I don't want anyone to think that I'm claiming to be him or that I'm one of those Americans that is blindly a fan of his. Is it possible for me to change my username and if so how? If it's not would an admin be able to help me out with this? I'd really appreciate any help.

You can't do it yourself mate, and we normally only change them for privacy reasons. The boss , @GrandOldTeam, might do it for you though.

Apart from @Bungle, who's none too bright, I doubt anyone thinks you are Tim Howard. After all, I'm really Carol from Chorley as opposed to being a woolly mammoth. As for being blinded by patriotism, well, some folk are, but most people will judge you by what you post rather than where you're from or what your userid is and those that don't, aren't important.
