Such a classy guy and we miss him so much up front.. I know he has a goal to make it back for SA2010, but i'm hopeing he dont rush anything and possibly damage his career...

Another example of how one can find out about clubs you don't even know about due to this expansion of American players overseas.

I loved researching about Sochaux when he signed. They told him up front that they were good at developing young strikers in 2,3,4 years and that was their plan with him as they got him ready for possible sale to a bigger French club or another European club.

Actually watching how Sochaux visibly handled Davies' injury in the press versus how AC Milan handled Onyewu's was far different. Sochaux has been nothing but great to Davies, and it's hard to not pull for them. Davies is in a great environment there, hope he stays for awhile.

And yes, great interview. I predict he'll be playing again by the WC, but not match fit or sharp. At least he's playing again. He'll be ready come 2014

I'm pretty certain I had a Sochaux shirt as a kid, a bargain buy from JJB when they only had 2 shops in Wigan and Leigh, it was long sleeved and fleece lined, so must have been a winter shirt. It had 'chaussettes la bonal' on the front and that appears to be something to do with 'stadium socks' ....wtf.

I have a ski hat from Bulgaria that has something in their alphabet on it but I haven't a clue what it says, apart from being red it's a good hat, I'd never wear it of course due to the colour.

Bargain rack in JJB sports.
You get allsorts of kits when you're a kid, had an Aberdeen away shirt as well, They weren't as expensive in those days and especially for teams that were from elsewhere, probably the previous seasons or something ?

These days kids come back from their holidays with all kinds of shirts (usually fakes) although it is almost customary to buy a Barca top when you're a kid and you go to Catalunya, I had one as a sprog and the lad has a Messi one, although my arl fella got the youngest a Real Madrid one when he went on a bernabau tour.
Kids like kits.

I have to try get a N.Z. all whites one for my daughter for the summer but tbh they look a touch expensive, so if full price she won't be getting.

I know Charlie was going to help us Yanks in purchasing Sochaux Davies shirts as he was going to tell us how through his twitter account earlier in the season but I forgot to keep checking in for updates.

there must be a printer that can do the name and number, any sports shop here could do it.
