Let me know if your interested at all

jon

p.s sorry for the sales pitch, helps my figures in work though :D

Whats the difference with the onboard graphics? Can you still play recent games on them? The second one looks cheap and I need more ram. Do you do laptops where you work as well as I've been leaning towards getting one of them tbh for the convenience

None of those PCs would play recent games, the onboard graphics are awful. Even the 1s without onboad GFXs will struggle with the most basic of games.

They are fairly decent PCs, but of no use at all for people who wish to have any sort of graphic display.

Something like :

Fusion GTS 250i - Intel Gaming PC - Custom Built Gaming PC Base Units

Would play games wonderfully tho.

wouldnt quite agree with that comment. Graphics cards are mainly aimed at gamers. onboard will more than suffice any office or multimedia person.

Unless you are into heavy video editing or CAD then theses systems are fine .

Our ebay store lists pc's from the above, which are basic specifications. A lot of umph for not much dollar. through to top of the range systems with GTX 295's and 4890's

Just the average jo bloggs doesnt want and cant afford these.

If you are into serious gaming, then i agree the above systems will not suffice. But get one of them quad cores and a decent graphics card and your absolutely laughin !!

Or give me a rough budget and ill price you up a system.

As for onboard graphics. they will struggle on most games, similar to most laptops. Older games should be fine but any graphic intense one will struggle.

Stick a decent graphics card in any of these and it will run smooth !! Thats even the cheap pc's

Most of these pc's are the base specification with easy upgrades if needed. but ideal as a general pc or student pc.

let me know if i can help any more

Oh and that one from ginger6. the gts 250 is just the rebranded 8800gtx which was not bad last year.. but bit old thumb now

regards

Some good deals there (I only play footy manager).

Can I have one for free and I'll advertise?

No?

Ah well, you dont get if you dont ask.

hey i would no problem

i would even offer you a real decent discount (50%) but my boss is a red ... lol

i would have to do discounts on the sly haha !

Basil asked if the systems would play recent games, I said they wouldnt, you also confirmed that. I didnt say they wouldnt do some people a job, but Basil asked about them games wise.

The system I gave would play games perfectly. I didnt say it was the latest spec, it was only £500 after all.

we do this as well, with the same graphics card

Intel Core 2 Quad Q8400 (4 x 2.66GHz)
4GB DDR II 800 MHz Memory (Ram)
500 GB SATA Hard Disk Drive
Nvidia Geforce GTS 250 Graphics Card
5.1 Channel HD Audio Soundcard
DVD Re-Writer
Top Specification Black/Silver Case
650w Gaming Power Supply

Thats £434.99 to the public

Also

Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550 (4 x 2.83GHz)
4GB DDR II 800 MHz Memory (Ram)
1TB (1000GB) SATA Hard Disk Drive
Nvidia Geforce GTX 275 Graphics Card
5.1 Channel HD Audio Soundcard
DVD Re-Writer
Top Specification Black/Silver Case
650w Gaming Power Supply

Thats £599.99 to the public

Any better for gaming?

Build your own...only way to fly. Of course, if you have trouble programming your DVR then that wouldn't be advisable. I'm not even sure when the last time was that I bought a pre-built...'98 perhaps.

Yup, '98..when the P2 Deschutes came out. I'm gettin' old FFS.

some great prices there mate.

i dont play games on the computer so for anyone who needs a good puter at a good price then they will do more than a good job with them specs.(y)

The pc I'm using at the moment was built for me free of charge by a friend who used to be in the same clan as me when we played Cod4 and Farcry etc which we ran leagues and servers for . The other lads in the clan felt sorry for me I guess as my old pc was fit for a museum , and the case was held together with cellotape lol .
Now that's what I call cheap (y)

couple of years back i would have agreed. but not in todays current market !

to get the parts at retail price and then build them will cost you so much more, and in quality too

unless you are looking at building over time!

if i honestly told you how much profit was in each pc, you would be gob smacked.. the money has fallen out of them due to so many competitors
