If the rumours running through the press this morning are correct it would seem that the Chelsea dream may well soon turn into a nightmare. reports suggest that both Terry and Lampard will leave in the summer following Mourinho to either Barca or Real. On top of this Abramovich appears to be fed with the whole thing and is ready to sell the club. This scenario is fuelled by two different matters, firstly his divorce which some suggest has cost him over a thousand million pounds and secondly Vladimir Putin, the Russian President wants Abramovich to head up their application for the World Cup.

This begs the question, who will want to buy Chelsea. The only possible purchaser I could think of in the Dubai Group that the RS insulted. On the football field the trickle down effect could have long term problems for the team because it is likely the most valuable assets will have gone to Spain..:P

Surely this proves that retaining some degree of local control over your team is important rather than see it become a rich mans plaything. At Chelsea I feel certain the party is over and the bill is about to arrive:P

Could well be right there Monty. The South London Bubble is about to burst and good job to.

AS for the RS, so it comes out that Hicks & Co borrowed from the RBS, so much for the hype that it was their own cash. Heard that the interest payments are said to be 21 mill a year. Screw them.
