Anybody in Chester tonight? Going to see off a friend who is emigrating to NZ soon. In Telfords wine bar if anyone wants to drop by.

Not really. It's all the same usually.

Wetherspoons > Revolution > Rosies

Going to Telfords Wine Bar though, probably the best bar in Chester.

Sounds expensive to me. I don't think i'm the wine bar type, but hope you enjoy your night.

It's called a wine bar but they do sell loud mouth soup.

It used to be a mill of some sort, and it's really cool in there. Local artists adorn the walls with their work and they can be bought also. It's not expensive to drink there though. Oh and they have a picture of that old bird from the 60's Coronation Street.

I lived a stones' throw from Telfords Warehouse (Wine Bar?) when I went to university in Chester. The city as a general rule is [Poor language removed] for a night out but Telfords is nice for what it is.

Had a decent night. Ended up with a curry also, which is always a bonus.

The music in Telfords though, the live music was [Poor language removed]. Some 60s Jamaica reggae thing with some MC who looked like the dude in Gimme Gimme Gimme. I like a bit of reggae, bit of Marley whilst on a sailing boat is good for me. But this was garbage.

Every single song sounded exactly the same. Also seeing rich chester people dance like they knew what they were doing. Forgot it was Chester Races and thus the tit level went up a few notches.

Mind you did discover some new drinks.

Some Jaeger bomb thing in Red Bull, a drink called Krabbies, which was alcoholic ginger beer, Ergentine beer (I think) and Bison Grass vodka and lemonade which was very nice.
