[imga=right]http://www.merseyside.police.uk/Images/news/march/Megan-GARGAN.jpg[/imga]Merseyside Police is becoming increasingly concerned for the whereabouts of 13-year-old Megan Gargan, who has been missing from her home in Huyton since last Friday (March 14). Megan was last seen at 8am by her mother as she left her home address in Fairclough Road, Huyton.
Megan is described as white, about 4ft 7in tall with dark blonde, straight, shoulder length hair. She has blue eyes and when she was last seen was wearing blue jeans, a brown combat jacket and a pink vest top over a white T shirt.
Megan is known to frequent Huyton and the Cawthorne Avenue area of Kirkby.
Police would urge Megan to make contact with them or her family to reassure them that she is OK, and anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to call Kirkby Police Station on 0151 777 6530.

Anyone heard of her?

What factors influence why some children get mass media attention and others dont?

Beats me mate and its shocking this doesnt seem to have been as much in the news as any other case of its kind. Cant honestly answer your question
