As usual the crap flavourless bland meat that is Turkey is getting replaced by the objectively superior in every way meat that is chicken.

Beef Wellington as the alternative.

Edit: before someone says you’ve never had good Turkey, I have… it’s still crap compared to chicken.

Having salmon, with the Roydo salad, with me Mum in her new flat. First Christmas without Dad, second without Nikki, neither of us are that arsed. If the weather is ok, both of us will look forward to a stroll around the marina most likely.

The only tradition in my family is Christmas breakfast. Blueberry muffins and maple sausage.

Large turkey stuffed with goose, duck, mallard, chicken, groose, quail, pheasant, partridge, woodpigeon and woodcock. Weighs 25kg going into the oven.
The next day what's left gets cooked inside a monkfish.
