My old man is a city supporter, and it looks like theyve just become the richest club in the world.

Is that what the game has come to?

Im checking out the citeh forums and they are positivley buzzing. Their heads have grown massive overnight. If City's history is anything to go by, it will be shortlived and end badly.

Now optimism isnt one of our clubs greatest assests, well the supporters not the Chairman.

Honestly would you want the same thing to happen to Everton?

The chance to play fantasy football and cream the sky 4? Yes please.
 

I'm just worried when will it all stop. Surely sport should not be all about money, but then again what isn't all about money these days. The whole world is driven by money. It's happening to rugby league here in Australia, so many players leaving to earn the big $ in Rugby Union or in the English Super League. I admit they would be crazy not to make the money while you can, but I think it's the responsibility of the governing body of the sport to stop all this cash splash, it's not like people can't live without sport.

It's making me sick, i'm going to go and live in a commune and eat grasshoppers.
 
My ideal top 4 would be:

Everton
Villa
City
Arsenal


I'd also be fairly happy seeing Citeh spend all that cash and still not get into the top 2.

That's just stupid. $250m? That's more than they paid for the club.

Hopefully our sugar daddy will come along soon - the billionaires are running out of options!...

Good for them though, Liverpool are 1st in line to be kicked out of the top 4, so over the next 5 years, they're looking at losing out on 100's of millions in CL revenue, a lowered brand image and less ability to attract the big names - Loving it!...
