Been on a few, yeah.

All depends on what you're looking for.

My favourite place I've been to is probably Berlin, or Porto.

Went to Naples a few weeks back and it's an amazing place if you're wanting to just immerse yourself in the culture of a place and not sight see.
Porto is one of my favourite places. Lovely place, nice people, nice food and of course the port

I'm biased but Ljubljana is a very lovely place and small enough to largely cover in a couple of days.

Depends on where you're flying from though to get to Slovenia but there's lots of routes. Last time we got a lift from my bro in law to Zagreb and flew from there. Going again week after next and flying Bristol to Venice and getting a shuttle bus from there.

Stansted flies direct to Ljubljana. No idea about Liverpool if that's where you're going from, Manchester probably has flights.

Ghent in Belgium wins hands down.

It`s just such a beautiful, but massively overlooked, medieval city.

The Ghent Festival, held over a four day period in July every year, when the bars can stay open for 24 hrs every day ( if they wish ) is just brilliant.

The local people are extremely friendly and love the English too, which is a rarity !

yeah, Porto is great, still has a bit of the 'old fashioned' charm which is a bit more lost in Lisbon now..

my only issue is it is the more traditional food is a bit carb heavy, although i did have a lot of francesinhas so it clearly didn't bother me that much lol
