Just watching MoTD, Wigan v Blackburn.

Clattenburg just gave a penalty for what was essentially the same challenge Carra put on Lescott, except with all the strength and force of a 2-yr old!

Now how he can deny any claims if bias over the Carragher incident i don't know :angry: :angry:

[Poor language removed] him. He took money off Liverpool. He should be having his personal finances scrutinised. Either he is bent or he is incompetent.

Either way he has no business refereeing a kids game let alone in the top flight.

Liverpool alone would fight his case to remain, which says it all.

Luckily the FA is incompetent, so his position is secure. If he referees another Liverpool game ever again it will make a travesty of the league.
I for one will be watching his every decision if and when that happens.

the penalty was harsh, but it was also borderline in this case, the handball being more certain but still not a one hundred percenter.

i cant convey the depths my mind has considered for this individual, on todays showing although he got a few things wrong, its not quite on the scale of our game with the inbreds and the game that of manure vs bolton that saw the inbreds prosper.

hughes should have given him a solid right cross - out of principal. i couldnt condemn that.

yeah, i have to admit he made a good call on santa cruz's header when he allowed play to go on after the foul on bentley, but you know what they say about the exception....

interesting that Fergie got fined by the FA over his Clattenburg rantings. I haven't heard anything about Moyes. Does that mean he got off or did i just miss something?

I'd be suprised if he wasn't dropped down a division. He's making some high profile blunders.

No, Moyes has opted to fight the charge hence a formal hearing will be convened with all parties present. The boss is taking Big Dunc with him for snotting purposes :lol:
