I'm doing a tour next month with Kyle Eastwood, Clint's son. He's a fine double bass player by all accounts.

So what's your favourite Clint film?

for me its a toss up between Eiger Sanction and Dirty Harry

Dirty Harry, for the opening sequence alone...but the rest of the film rocks

The Good the Bad and the Ugly... absolute classic

For a few dollars more... one of my top ten movies of all time

Unforgiven... v gene hackman is a great role

In the Line of fire... top performance

The Gauntlet... when I was kid I loved the ending to this film

Every which way you can... man and monkey you gotta love that

Thunderbolt and lightfoot... one of the best screeplays ever written

Play Misty for me... scared me in my younger days

Good question - quite a few I guess!

as an actor from the following:

The Bridges of Madison County
Unforgiven
Escape from Alcatraz
The Outlaw Josey Wales
Kelly's Heroes
Where Eagles Dare

mainly cos they are good films - it's a real toss-up so perhaps I'll go with Josey Wales.

all of the westerns, worth watching for the soundtracks alone. i keep saying i'm gonna get a trumpet off ebay and pucker up once more to blast some of those class tunes out. hang'em high etc when leading 3-0 in a derby would be class !! and the last post when they hold the added time board up would be pretty good too.
my arl fella used to have an 8 track with a few dollars more & the good the bad and the ugly on when i was a kid.

Hang 'Em High.

The sound of the trap door haunted me for years. Brilliant.

'when you hang a man, take a good look at him'

Go'ed Clint lad!

Biker: "Hey, these are our choppers Charlie."

Shockley: "This is my gun Clyde."

Best. Line. Ever.

Space Cowboys!

Nah, he has lots and lots of amazing movies that are really top drawer. And the fact he is making great movies as a director too!

His daughter, Alison is a bit of alright as well!

i'm a big clint eastwood fan & couldn't pick one favourite as most of his films are excellent, although he's done the odd weaker film. i remember kyle starring with his father in "honkytonk man" back in '82, i hope he got over that premature ejaculation problem! clint's a mean jazz pianist, i wonder if they get to play together much.

Harry Callahan:

"I know what you're thinking. "Did he fire six shots or only five?" Well, to tell you the truth, in all this excitement I kind of lost track myself. But being as this is a .44 Magnum, the most powerful handgun in the world, and would blow your head clean off, you've got to ask yourself a question: Do I feel lucky? Well, do ya, punk?"
