Anybody read comics when they were kids. Comics like the Beano and Dandy.

My wife made me think back to that and I miss those days. I was a Beano reader rather than Dandy, but my faves were (obviously) Dennis the Menace, Roger the Dodger, Calamity James and the Bash Street Kids.

I was a bit weird and always fancied Minnie the Minx.

I was a beano man, also used to read the He-Man comic.

Fancied getting into the X-men marvel comic stuff when i was a teenager but thought it had been going on for years and would be hard to pick up!

I used to get wither Match, Shoot, or Soccer stars onve a week depending on which one had an everton poster i could cellotape to my bedroom wall!

Dandy, Victor and Beano for me. None of that girly stuff. When I got a bit older and discovered 'boys' it was 'Jackie' and Mirabelle.
'Shoot 'was always available but mother went spare when she realised that I was reading Shoot rather than Women's Realm.

I was a Dandy man myself. That is until Roy of the Rovers entered my life.

Overall I was a Beano man. But Roy of Melchester Rovers was my favorite. Remember Jumbo Trudgeon? Desperate Dan was hilarious also.

Later I became a Century 21 and a big Commando fan. Are these still around?
