just setting up my 11yr old lads pc up for the internet, but need some help.

i need to put in some parental controls but im useless

any ideas (the easier the better)

You probably want to take a look at some software like NetNanny (review here to give you an idea of what this does) if you don't have much of a clue about computers - others who have children might have specific software recommendations...

Go to www.getnetwise.org - there are over 140 differing filtering tools reviewed there.

Also worth looking at www.childnet.com a non-profit website that gives all sorts of internet/technology advice for child safety.
