Connecting wirelessly to internet via Nintendo Wii

Has anyone done this?

I just can't seem to get it connected.

It detects the router but when I try and connect it just freezes and gives some Error code.

LCAB just mentioned that he plugged it directly into the router, might have to bring it downstairs and try that.

Worked for the PS3 for me in the bedroom . Though Ive since got a hub thing but havent tried it . Should work on principle though .

Mine just detected my wireless and connected. You sure you've not put in the password key thing? Is your net encrypted?

Mine worked fine as well, once I input the relevant info. It was a few months ago, so I don't remember specifics, but it wasn't a major hassle.
