Just read that Cornation Street bosses have had to cut out a line from the bad Scots lad in it who stated something along the lines that he could no more go out with Rosie Webster than support Glasgow Rangers.

Dozens of Rangers fans rang ITV to complain. Im agine Brookside was still running and a character on that said near enough the same thing about Everton. Mildly pissed off would be my reaction but to root out the channel's number seems a bit excessive.

I think the guy who plays this character is a big Celtic fan in 'real life' so maybe that is the prime reason.

They should feel really hard done by, I mean, after losing the UEFA cup final and taking it out on the city of Manchester, by destroying everything in sight along with battering police, how dare Manchester's repsonse be a tongue in cheek remark on a soap Opera, [Poor language removed] off Rangers.
