Pretty sure I read a review (Maybe in Q magazine) saying a greatest hits album could be a single on repeat because they all sound exactly the same. No idea if it's true, I only ever heard "Big Country" (the single)
Or did I?
That's fair enough, I honestly can't remember anything they did beyond the self titled single. (which was catchy enough)A lot of the music press liked to sneer at them mate, as even when the Crossing ( their first album ) went to number one, some of the music press continued to put them down, deeming them to be unfashionable and uncool.
The bass player - Tony Butler, was one of the best in the business ( imo ) and their gigs, where legendary. Just massive parties with music.
The drummer - Mark Brezicki - played for the Cult at the same time and was on the drums for them, on the legendary Love album.

I'll give "The Crossing" a listen on Spotify over the weekend.
Heard a podcast with a Labour MP recently that's in a band called mp4 with the former keyboard player from runrig and 2 others (all mps). They're no Runrig.
Great theme tune - rubbish film. One of Scotland's finest bands.
Same for Adele.Pretty sure I read a review (Maybe in Q magazine) saying a greatest hits album could be a single on repeat because they all sound exactly the same. No idea if it's true, I only ever heard "Big Country" (the single)
