Hi to everyone, first time on the Forum. I've been lurking for a while and find the comment entertaining and informative. Don't quite understand some of the abbreviations but I'm sure I'll pick it up!

Last game I went to was at home to Keflavick in 70/71 (joke!) when Gordon West threw a hissy fit when he let a soft goal in. We won 6-2 on the night and 9-2 on aggregate. That will give some of you an idea of my age. Memory still works although I find it strange that I can recall loads from between 66 and 70 (Pickering, Trebilcock, Wilson, Labby, Hurst, Morrissey, Husband, Whittle, Mick Lyons, Buckley, McLaughlin, Connolly, Dave Clements, Billy Bingham et al) but nothing of the 90s. Don't know where that decade went.

Look forward to the comment throughout the season.

When did you first go the match mate?

First game I can recall was away to West Bromwich Albion in either 65 or 66. I remember it because my dad, brother and I were sat in the front row of the stand right by the touchline and Ray Wilson fell on us during the game trying to keep the ball in play. I know Alan Ball said once Everton has touched you... but in my case it was Ray Wilson!!

Just been up to EFC and picked up tickets for tonight. Son and one daughter joining me so the tradition is continuing.
