Good.
The only person disappointed is his bank manager. Nobody remembers IPL winners, except in India.Didn't realise they banned you if don't turn up every year, just blackmail really, take our money or we cut you off.

It can definately be a good education for young white ball cricketers, but you are right. I also think the Stokes era has changed thinking in England and all the youngsters want to be test cricketers againThe only person disappointed is his bank manager. India and the Ashes coming up as well might sharpen the minds. It can definately be a good education for young white ball cricketers, but you are right. I also think the Stokes era has changed thinking in England and all the youngsters want to be test cricketers again
I actually don't mind it as an idea. It's not like you're not allowed to choose not to play at all, it's only if you put yourself up for the auction and get signed, but then decide you don't want to do it after all. I find it annoying at county level when overseas players sign up and then decide against it so I don't mind the idea of disincentivizing people pulling out of contracts.Didn't realise they banned you if don't turn up every year, just blackmail really, take our money or we cut you off.
