I don't think that lineup works, based on past performances. That said, it's quite possible that Benitez has gotten through to Gomes and Delph what he wants. They've shown flashes.

It's a contract year for Delph and he's not likely to get another shot if this one doesn't work out, so he shouldn't lack for motivation.

Keane/Holgate is a pairing that always seems to have a clown fiesta in them, which is worrying.

Let's hope they bring it.
