Looks like Cudicini may not play again (nothing new as he was always on the bench) after being in a Road accident.

Hope he gets well always thought he was a decent keeper.

CUDICINI HURT IN ROAD ACCIDENT | Football Transfer News, Football News, Fixtures, Results, Match Reports, Stats

Tottenham goalkeeper Carlo Cudicini has fractured his wrists and injured his pelvis after he was involved in a serious road accident on Thursday.
The 36-year-old Italian goalkeeper was admitted to hospital and underwent scans under the supervision of the club's medical staff.
Cudicini's BMW superbike collided with a Ford Fiesta on Forest Road, Walthamstow at 10.30am.
The former Chelsea star's injuries were initially described by the police as 'possibly life-changing'.
A police spokesperson confirmed: "A 36-year-old male suffered injuries described as possibly life-changing and was taken to an East London hospital for further assessment and treatment."
A spokesperson for Tottenham, who later confirmed the goalkeeper had fractured his wrists and injured his pelvis, said: "We can confirm Carlo Cudicini was involved in a road accident this morning. The club doctor is with him at hospital where we await the result of scans and tests."
The female driver and a child passenger walked away from the car - which was described as a 'write-off' - and did not need hospital treatment.
Cudicini arrived at White Hart Lane last January having been signed on a free transfer after a decade at Chelsea.
The Italian has made eight appearances and only last month said he was keen to stay beyond the end of the campaign, when his contract expires.
"My contract is about to expire, but I would be happy to remain at Tottenham," he said. "However, I would consider Italian clubs if that wasn't possible."
He made his name at Chelsea after joining the club from Castel Di Sangro in 1999, initially on loan before signing a permanent deal.
He was first choice for four seasons at Stamford Bridge before the arrival of Petr Cech.

that sounds nasty.

bikes are as cool as it goes but when you come off a super bike you are going to get hurt.

hope he is ok, but it sounds as if he wont play again.

Unfortunately, there is probably some clause in his contract that voids everything if he's riding a motorcycle. Think it's pretty standard in US professional athlete contracts especially when there's guaranteed money involved.

Either way, hate to see anyone get injured like that.

I hate hearing news like this, shame to see a players career finish in this way................at his age he won't come back

Damn.......pelvis 'and' wrist injuries.
He will need a wheel barrow to carry his balls around in a few weeks.

Seriously though, hope he gets well and his career is still there for him.

Looks like it wasn't as serious as first thought:

Tottenham goalkeeper Carlo Cudicini is expected to make a "good recovery" after undergoing surgery on Friday.
The 36-year-old had an operation on his right wrist and pelvis following his motorbike accident on Thursday.
Spurs report the surgery has been successful and the Italian is now expected to be released from hospital soon.
Head of medical services Wayne Diesel told the club's official website: "Both specialists are extremely pleased with the result and expect a good recovery.
"Carlo is in a lot less discomfort than before the operations and is in good spirits.
"The splint on his left wrist has been removed and he now has full use of this wrist.
"He will remain in hospital for a few more days and then be on forearm crutches for about 12 weeks."
Cudicini's agent Federico Pastorello also played down the extent of his injuries and insisted the keeper's career is not at risk.
"The worst is now over and we will analyse the time for his recovery after the operation," Pastorello told Sky Sports Italia.
"There was never any risk of permanent damage whatsoever."
Cudicini was rushed to hospital on Thursday after suffering injuries that were initially described by police as 'possibly life-changing'.
Tottenham quickly released a statement to say he had fractured his wrists and injured his pelvis and he was later transferred to a private hospital.
