My god, it seems every day I read a little swipe at the club from TW. Its almost like they are on the wrong side of the fence when it comes to supporting teams in Liverpool.
Its not just negative comments, its the way they say things. Like back chat from a small child.
I love my club, and I love watching them, I enjoy the speculation to an extent, and I like new developments like Stadiums, youth sides, etc....
I hate comments from people who think they know better, but at the end of the day they are not Sports Writers, they are not managers of Premiership football clubs, they have never had to deal with millions of pounds, they have never had to run a stadium, they have never had to search for investment on a large scale, they have never had to deal with the media.
And ok, they are entitled to an opinion, but if it was a forum and a little less high profile, then fair enough. But when it is a source of information for the many many fans around the world, they have a responsibility to at least try and show the club in a positive light, and not be smart arse about it.
Now I know some here think that I am never wrong, and I know that's a fault of mine, but what I don't do is unjustly criticise the club. I have my opinions like many, and I am passionate about what I write about, again like many.
I do try and backup with facts or majority belief. For instance Anichebe is not ready to lead the line, and many many agree with me. One person doesn't and that's fair enough, I'll leave it at that. But TW and in particular Michael Kendrick seems to think he is the one true voice when it comes to Everton opinions and I bet it's his voice that his heard loudest amongst the rest, and that's just down to the popularity of the site.
I just feel that he dents people's opinions with his overly cynical comments. Its not an episode of Have I Got News For You. Its not an arena to criticise the government. It should be a place where people go to read the Everton news from the fan and not just from the club.
Hence why I started the thread on developing GOT.
Ok, that's my morning rant over with.
