Da Vinci Explored

Just been playing a game about Da Vinci (nothing to do with the Dan Brown book), and it was based around his time and all about a manuscript. Obviously fiction, but it was surrounded with fact. Things like the flying machine, the anatomy drawing, mona lisa, etc....

I really think that studying this man's works should be something that kids in school need to be taught, I wasn't and I believe that is a wasted opportunity.

Someone who painted, drew, wrote, invented, concocted and theorised, seriously needs to be taught.

Anyone here a Da Vinci fan?

Van Gogh though is not a patch on Da Vinci, he's a legend, but it's like Gazza was a legend, but he was no Maradona was he?

Ok i admit Van Gogh ain't the same ball park as Da Vinci.

I did A level Art, wanted to do my final project on Da Vinci actually but they changed the prospectus and we had to do "War & Conflict".

It was an Epic failure. I should of done PE, then i could of been a Physio.

They should teach more about this sort of thing, but its not politically correct to do anything these days.

I had to learn about Ramadan in school? sorry but i think Da Vinci is more interesting. Is that politically incorrect?????

Why are you learning about Ramadan? Other than perhaps opening the doors to another culture so you can understand why they don't eat before sundown, but other than that?

Art and Science is so much more important for kids to learn.
