Last Sunday I passed by Darlington, whilst on the train to Newcastle. I could see their stadium and had a discussion with my mate about the insanity of building such a ground for a 2nd division outfit. It's really waiting for a disaster to happen. Of course, I don't know what's been going on in the past. So don't know if their stadium is the reason for their financial meltdown, but have to say it didn't come as a surprise, when I read the article on the BBC site.

Too many similarities with my home town club, Fortuna Sittard.
