You know what amazes me, i understand that there is a great deal of skill involved with all Sports, but how on earth does this Taylor dude crush everybody every single year? I mean i know its about hitting the numbers, trebles and doubles, but he hardly EVER has a bad game, thats not normal. And its not like he just beats people, he crushes them into little pieces and spits them out.

He broke the world record for a 3 dart average tonight, 3 months after it was broken, by him.

Barney average nearlly 102, which would normally comfortably beat any opposition, Taylor's 109.75 is just unreal.

He just said then that he's hoping to keep this little run going now as its his pension fund. Pension fund? I really hate that attitude, sadly it is the typical narrow minded British attitude towards anyone successful, be it in sport or business.
I play darts, I love the game and I really admire Phil Taylor.
Who cares if you can't stand him, the crowds love him. After all, who the [Poor language removed] are you.

No it's not. Its the way he talks about other players, like they are in the junior leagues. Barney won the world championship 5 times but he never talks down do the rest like Taylor does.

I'm really surprised here of the attitude. Phil Taylor for Sky is the equivalent of Man U, Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal. Hands up here who likes any of them 4?

I'm not denying that Taylor isn't a great Darts player, like I'm not going to deny Torres is a great Striker - I just think he says things that are really offensive to the rest.

Its just an opinion lads. You know how English I am here, and proud of my nation I am. But I wanted Barney to win tonight, and its because he's a nicer person in my opinion.

I also just hated the way the commentators just waited for Taylor to do well and searched for as many niceties as they could find. Barney hit a 9 darter the other night, but all they could talk about was Taylor getting one tonight. They were desperate for it.
