Would be a good buy at the right price for someone.

You don't go from being a great player at Blackburn to a sh*t player at Spurs overnight.

As i said in a different post, he was a Ramos buy (although he & others helped engineer his exit but thats another story) & he obviously doesn't suit Harry's style of play.

He was playing in a side absolutely bereft of confidence at the start of the season & he never really recovered, plus Lennon's (who has been our player of the season) form has been excellent.

I don't think the price tag helped him either. The expecations of the fans/media was just too high.

The fact that he can;t get on the pitch when Lennon is out injured says it all. He's gone i think.

Personally i like the guy & wish him all the best wherever he is playing next season.

Only if you don't mind accepting clubcard points from Tesco as payment like, even though he's had a bad season I still think someone will pay around 10m for him, which is beyond our range i'm afraid

I suppose he could solve our winger problem. He played well at Blackburn, but that was a poor team, so it's not hard to shine. Wenger didn't fancy him and now Wobbly Head doesn't either.

Maybe £8m and he'd be worth a shout, but Spurs will look for more than that. He could end up at City or even Liverpool.

He's a proper right winger, a guy who has some skill, a great cross, drifting in and out of the England team, he's perfect for Everton.

Pienaar on the left, Arteta in the centre and Bentley on the right? It would be great. Having Bentley crossing to Cahill/Fellaini in the box, taking the corners, and freekicks. Great signing. Wages though...

8 mill is too much IMO, back down to 5 and maybe. Trouble is we have not seen much of his play this season as 'Arry did not select him so really cannot judge.

I'd bite Spurs hand off. We need some quality on our Right hand side, he fits the bill perfectly. Moyes would get the best out of him.

Good player but he's a MOTD player and can't do it consistently. Plus Spurs aren't stupid enough to let go of a player who they spent their record transfer fee on to a club who will only be willing to pay around 2 million.

Would love to have him at Everton. Think he's exactly what we need on the right. Personally, I'm not put off by his supposed attitude problems. No doubt Moyes would get that sorted. So a big YES for me please.(y)

But if it's a choice between him and Moutinho as our main buy this summer though i'll still take the Mout, Redknapp knows a lot of teams would like him and he won't sell him for peanuts.

I'd say 8-10m and I think he'd be great on our right but watching Moutinho every week is the spark that we need at Goodison I reckon, bit of flair alongside Arteta and Rodwell
