2024/25 David Moyes

Relax Dwight, hes been in the job a week, its going to be a learning experience and it sure is nice to learn AND win. For the life of me I cant understand how people live in this world and then expect immediate perfection from others.
Mate, he nearly threw the game buying having 6 defenders on the pitch when spurs had two crap cbs and were there for a battering - it’s like he’s never been away

Dunno about that, they’re wide open as well.
Maybe, but I doubt they’ll be playing teenage midfielders in the center of defense. Gray had a hand in all three goals.

On the one hand, fair play to go after him. On the other hand, it remains to be seen if the performance can be duplicated. Certainly much more going forward in Moyes first two matches

Moyes tactic. First half at least 6 edge of the box short through balls into the box, 1 resulted in goal, that’s more than the entire season under Dyche.

Similar situation under Dyche, players will be reluctant to try through balls, pushing wide and then drifted back inside aimlessly until we lose possession, concede counter and scrambling back like idiots.

Just a couple of observations from today. We were a lot more open but Moyes obviously thought that was the risk worth taking in order to create some chances and get numbers in the box.

Some superb pressing, when we sat in there was real shape and purpose to the counter attack.

Lindstrom with orders to get the ball in the box, he'll be really disappointed that Mykolenko crawled back into his shell and only needed up putting about 2 balls in after Moyes said he wanted him to get about 7/8 balls in a game.

For less than a weeks work, Moyes has already got them well drilled in certain aspects and it will get better if he can get soke reinforcements in.

Brilliant effort from all, absolutely gigantic 3 points today

Tbf. mate, if it was a new manager - fine. But it is our old manager doing his usual!

But, hey, great win!
