I couldn't even be arsed to read what that nugget said. Just like the commentator at the end of the game yesterday who reckoned after the result Villa had cememnted themselves as challengers to the top 4.

Yeah right. We should of done em, we know it, they know it and everyone else who knows about football knows it. No way will they break top 4.

Spot on mate. I too could not be bothered to read what that Chicken Nugget had to say, cant stand the man. No offence to Chico's post you understand.

Because Villa are in the race for that 4th spot they'll sing their praises to the high heavens like breaking the top 4 isnt possible, like we aint done it before or that around this time last season we were 4th.

We were boss, they were [Poor language removed] and took some spawny goals (although, Sidwells goal was good), never creatied anything (apart from the 1st goal) and played a lot of hoofball. We passed it well and should've scored 5.

But Villa are brilliant and Ashley "Did nothing all game" Young is World Class.

Ashley Young has plenty of pace, that is all he has to offer. He was gifted his two goals and then he becomes a superstar. We can overtake Villa in the race for fourth or fifth, that i have no doubts about.

On the evidence iof yeasterdays game Villa are light years away from 4th spot I cant see how anyone rates Oneil his tactics did work but only with a huge slice of luck.

Young is not world class..he is by all accounts a "genious"..sorry Mr Oneill i rate you as a manager but you need to fire your optician

Pleat is a kerb crawling nob head who's achieved fcuk all in football. Anyone who has any knowledge of the way that O'Neill has played his football in the past at Leicester and Celtic will know the irony of painting his side as silky smooth proponents of the beautiful game....only for Carew being injured they'd have been lumping it.

However, it's an Evertonian conceit that we dont fit into the long ball culture that Pleat describes. We do play that way. It's something Moyes has never gotten under control. We are an embarrassment to watch on most occasions. I'll bet Fellaini has never ever been asked to play in the manner in which he's being asked to play at Everton: 'he's big, get the ball to his head'. Never mind though, as Moyes said post match 'we had a right good go'.

Villa hoofed far more than us on Sunday...

I'm not fan of David Moyes' football but he played well on Sunday. We kept the ball well, we where positive, we mixed it up well and we where very direct at times.

With a more productive striker we probably would've won the game comfortably. Victor did well but he's a battering ram more than anything, we needed a more experienced head up there like Saha or Yak.

I liked the way well played yesterday, I must admit. We passed it but we also looked a handful, Villa struggled to deal with us at times.

I think moving Arteta into the middle really could be a masterstroke, I really do. I hope Moyes keeps him there.
