Welcome to GOT mate. Great to hear your account on Klaassen. I have quite high expectations on this deal, think he seems like a real team player who will hopefully play an important role in making us more competitive and harder to beat.

unlike Royston Drenthe or Memphis Depay, Davy is a guy who is more busy with football instead of making a new rapvideo or importing new Bently's to the UK. He is a hard worker and has the talent to become a important player to your club. Klaassen also had a lot of intrest of Napoli, Roma and Juventus but chooses for Everton because he is smart guy who thinks ahead.

As a matter of interest, how much influence do you think the fact that Koemann is the manager had if he does end up here? How are he and his brother seen these days in the Netherlands? Or is that all just 'old history'?

Koeman is considered one of the best coaches the netherlands has to offer at this moment. Peter Bosz (Borrusia Dortmund) Bert van Marwijk (Former head coach of the national team and now head coach of Saudia Arabia) and Koeman are, what i think, the top 3 of coaches we have at this moment. Koeman did a tremendous job with Southampton and was succesfull with Feyenoord with which he almost became champion. He is also considered a Cruijff adapt calling him one of his biggest influences and was considered prime candidate for head coach of the national team after Blind left. Koeman however turned it down because he offered to do it after Feyenoord but was declined because they wanted Blind to do it. Bad call of the KNVB.

and we at Ajax think that Davy specifically chose for Everton because of the presence of Koeman. Koeman is a former Ajax coach and knows the qualities of Davy. He has a bigger garantee on playtime with Koeman than he would have with Napoli, Juventus or Roma.

No joke there mate, especially Napoli has shown a great interest in him for almost 2 years now. they made an official offer last year but Davy declined because he wanted to achieve something with Ajax. Everton is the right step for both player and club.
