Yeah it is a scary similarity. Not that I mind. Always though Naismith would have been a koeman type player.... Loves his high workrate players does ol Ron.

Those highlights remind me of Cahill in his prime. Good in the air, good positioning and some snide in him too.
He can hit a humdinger as well by the look of it.
I was excited about this fella without ever seeing him play because he's the Ajax captain and had good goal/assist stats, but I'm afraid you're right and now my excitement level has come down based on watching his 3 min YouTube vid. Penalties and crap defending all over the place. Especially compared to Sandros YouTube vid, now those were some proper strikes and skills.
I suggest you watch better vids.
