Hello All, I've been on here for a couple years, mostly browsing, but got the notice from GOT that they delete inactive users, so thought I'd say hi. I'm not necessarily a "new signing", more like a reserve player finally promoted to the first team. (Not like that ever happens at Everton these days.)

My name is Tony and I'm currently living in Washington, DC and originally from Wisconsin. I enjoy watching games at the pub with the DC Toffees @dctoffees , the local supports club. I'd say 70-80% of games are available live on TV here in the States.

Why Everton? In the US, its a unique situation, teams are more chosen than handed down. For me, it was a bit of both. My father taught English in British Honduras in the late 60's and his teaching partner was from Liverpool. He told him one thing to know about English Football is to love Everton and hate Leeds (guess things were different back then). My dad told him one thing to know about American football is to love the Green Bay Packers and hate the Chicago Bears. So when I started playing Fifa, my dad, who knows F__-all about soccer, told me to pick Everton. My brother would often question why I would pick Everton and I told him they were my team! The rest is history.

First Game: February 2005 @Southampton Marcus Bent equalizer in the last second, right in front of me.

First Goodison (and only) match: March 2005 vs Blackburn - lost 1-0 on a Jon Stead goal. I need to make it back!

Favorite Player: Big Dunc obviously, then all the Americans

Favorite Goal: In terms of quality, McFadden against Charlton. In terms of emotion and meaning, Gosling against the Reds in the FA Cup replay. Loved Saha's goal in the FA Cup final as well.

Well, hopefully I'll be more active now.
Let's dominate the RS this weekend!

Nice one Tony mate, welcome.

Always fascinates me some of the stories of how people come to support Everton and yours is a cracker.

Now, the important stuff.

Pineapple on pizza, yay or nay?

Pineapple on Pizza? I'd say it's acceptable, but only if accompanied with ham or Canadian bacon.
