Was driving at the back of one if those queues where a beige Austin was stuck behind a cyclist, holding up a digger, a bus and an artic. I though how useful would it be to be able to teleport all the slow-moving vehicles to behind me. A great application I thought.

Around 5 minutes later I was struck by the realisation that if we had teletransportation what would I be doing in a car? lol

Seriously though - can you imagine the security implications? Tramsporting yourself into and out of a bank vault etc. The need for shields all over the place to deflect unwanted beams. And what if you beam 'into' another person.
