I've managed to convince my Dad to come with me to the match against Villa for only the second time since 1978. Yeah, that long. Anyway, he's 62 turning 63 in June and i see on the Everton website that you get a nice discount if you're over 65. So i have two questions:
1) Is it morally justifiable (in your opinion of course) for me to buy my Dad an over 65 ticket ? He has trouble walking and age hasn't been kind to him, let's put it that way. He would never want to have to admit needing a disabled pass however. He's not working either, which i imagine is one of the main points of offering a discounts to over 65's.
2) If you would say it's acceptable on this one occasion, what are the chances of the club actually checking this up ? I haven't seen anything in recent visits that would suggest he'd need to worry.
Apologies in advance if anybody is annoyed by me even asking if it's okay to 'cheat' the system like this.
