There's a quite long pice in the Mail today about is mainly based around Moyes and his return. However towards the end it has this line

Certainly only the myopic would argue with Moyes' record at Goodison. Everton always spent a little more than was made out - Fellaini earned £70,000 a week while Sylvain Distin earns £60,000

That can't be right surely? I think Distin's great and all that, but £60k a week seems massively steep for someone his age, position and skill level.
