De Boer was a bullet dodged, certainly. Was never convinced on him though as I don't think the Dutch league alone is enough of an indicator as to your quality as a boss
Kone - surprised at this one. He's been awful this season, but I would have liked him here in the summer. Keeping an eye on that.
Witsel - Dunno. When it became clear he was messing us about I very quickly got over him. Had a good chuckle about his failed move to Juve. No idea how he's been doing since.
Sissoko - Never wanted him based on his attitude last season for Newcastle. Barely noticed him for Spurs if I'm honest, although given the midfielders they already had I never expected to see much of him there anyway.

Kone has took his contract and phoned his performance in, knowing that if the club is relegated he'll get a move anyway and be paid in the meantime. Moyes's vindictiveness over that transfer was stupid; he should have let the player go and re-invested the funds into players who wanted to be there.
For what it's worth, I think he is still a decent centre-half, but we should be looking at better.

Kone I think is going through the motions, he didn't try against arse at the weekend so his commitment to the cause is non existent, he wants a move and that's it.
Witsel I know nothing about apart from seeing him for Belgium once or twice, he looked good. Would prefer Kevin Strootman though.

witsel only one we missed out on that wouldve improved us. the rest were half-arsed panic bids.

I would have loved mata here, he's the only player we we're linked with that genuinely got me excited. He's probably been utds best player as well this season so doubt hell be moving on, if indeed the links ever had any truth in them.
Looking at the window in hindsight we did pretty well out of it, we are still badly lacking in options for Lukaku though and Valencia has been largely anonymous. as for witsel, Kone and alike they've hardly let the world alight since August so....

IF we are to raid Man United for anyone I would like us to go for Morgan Schneiderlin.
I think he would be the perfect replacement for when Barry hangs his boots up. We have potential coming through in these positions but at 26, experienced and having shone under Koeman previously, I think he would be well worth adding. Also my Saints supporting mate rated him above anyone else in that team raided by the RS.
Mata would also be a sound addition, though I would prefer Ramsey from Arsenal if we could persuade him to come here.
Mata and Big Willy Carvalho I'm still gutted about. Oh well.

Witsel has been playing well, apart from the first few matches after missing his transfer. He'll be happy though last I heard he'll be going to Juventus for 6 mil € in January.
