DCL reaction
"I'm enjoying my football which is the main. The chances are being created and it's my job to put them in the back of the net.
"It's my dream to play for England but I can't control that. I can only control what I'm doing on the pitch.
"We've got players who are capable of scoring from different positions on the pitch which is helpful for me.
"I enjoyed all my goals. It's nice that what I'm working on off the pitch, is coming off on the pitch.
"With the players we've got and the chances we're creating, I never had any doubt we'd win the game. Long may it continue.
"The other one is still in the boot of my car at the moment! I'll find a nice space for it in my house, my mum's house or my dad's house."

That 3rd goal was good, his previous goals going back from WBA all seemed scuffed or miss-hit or straight at the keeper, so to get a good clean finish will give him even more of a boost I believe. Not that I care to be honest as long as they go in, but when you start really connecting and not giving the keeper a chance then we could have a Shearer type player on our hands.

How would you know John, you joined in Aug 2020 and Tom Cleverley left several seasons ago

Well done for 'fessing up as a multi in celebration of the DCL hattrick.

Well, I've been lurking on here for a while, but your detective skills are wide of the mark, as you actually were talking about coining the snivelly nickname not so long ago.

Maybe I was wrong about lewen? Tonight went a long way to doing that, not by the fact he scored a hat trick but how he did.

1. Second goal was a typical centre forward goal, right place right time following through on a shot. Brilliant striker play

2. Third goal showed how much he has improved. It was those chances he often missed when he had time to pick a spot. The fact he can slot so easily now is a joy.

3. The first goal made me just say wow. what a finish that was, you'd expect that from a world class striker as a highlight so even I had a huge grin after watching that go in.

Hopefully this is the most wonderful wrong I have been and we have a top striker in the team now. Massive improvement shown tonight, he looks the makings of a top striker now

I'm afraid John that, as clear as the improvement in DCL's goalscoring and eyebrows, you've rumbled yourself with this one.

Was only listening on radio so searched for it, nice one.
