Thought 15 a season and being a general pain in the ass for defenders was his ceiling. He's almost got 15 goals on the season already.

Laughable the way people thought 15 goals was a mediocre return like we’ve been littered with premier league strikers who have hit 15.

Exactly, Other than Lukaku and Yakubu it has very rarely happened.

this is true.
15 goal a season prem strikers are £50m players

Always the way, people get annoyed and post but aren't as bothered to qualify any former posts once it all turns round. In the end you're just left with all the negative ones.

i always think of it lie the customer help pages for just about anything - always filled with criticism and complaints - who bothers to post when it's all good? Not many, do you get a distorted bad impression when you read them.

Anyway I'm calling him Dominic Calvert-Lewandowski from now on.

He had some terrible games and missed a lot of big chances, but he always had something for me. First time I saw him live was against Southampton in what was his first league start IIRC. He only played about 20 mins before getting injured, but I knew he had something. His pace and physicality will always have a place in this league and in our squad. Now he's added more goals and it's all falling into place.

It's all about continuing to work hard and keep improving. Consistency is key for strikers in this league, and that's the next stage for him to go to the top level.

The 3rd goal is just as good as the first calmly slotting with his weaker foot, He's done that quite a few times already.

In the past though he doesn’t score goals one or three of three hattrick. He has improved loads.

I think it's more the fact that 1) he isn't running into the channels like a headless chicken anymore, now he's staying where a striker is supposed to be 2) we now have a visionary in the team who is running the show

Dunno mate there were some pretty good defenders around then . Once DCL starts bumming the rs in derbies I will be convinced

Always liked DCL....
Just hope he can get those single winners in critical games (like against Spurs) and not just bully lower teams
The better supply is proving a real positive for him

To be honest if it was Ings, Vardy or Kane with a start like this you'd be saying 25+ and that is the level he needs to get to if he can.
