It underlines for me the limitations of the galoot as a coach. He;s been with him and, yes, heading is well up to snuff, but movement was always a problem for DCL....always lateral and clueless about playing off the shoulder of a defender when looking for a pass from midfield. Ferguson himself was ok laying off and bringing others onto the ball, but his movement across the back four was piss poor.

Ferguson when he was younger, was some player never an EFC Legend a great ICON - he managed us for a few games , and DCL looked better then ..
Imo DCL always had it in him in a good footballing side - Bingo he's delivering 8 goals already phenomenal.......

DCL is making progress all of a sudden and in this manager's regime.

I personally don't give a damn as long as DCL keeps slotting goals plus leads the line well...

This simply isn't true.

I was never his biggest fan, used to get annoyed with his stupid sending offs but he was far from limited.

I would take a different view in that Dunc saw the player in DCL and in his first game in charge put a player alongside him.

Carlo has taken everything to a different level but note of course the praise both he and DCL have given to Dunc.

A reasonable man could conclude Dave that the Galoot is fulfilling an important role.
