Im gutted about this as at Chelsea he bought a few through, but im guessing it might not have been by choice now. Although i guess its easier to bring one or two in when the rest of the squad is decent

Chelsea had plenty of top talent to bring through after years of Abramovich hoarding them

It's no coincidence Carlo turned him into a 20 goal a season striker just by telling him to stay in the 6 yard box and allowing Lucas Digne, James Rodriguez and Gylfi Sigurdsson to get to the byline and put good deliveries into the box.

Good managers recognise players strengths and play to them.

Why is it a surprise to anyone that fatigue is a thing, or that a player just back from injury has fatigue after playing 153 minutes in 3 days?

It's not as if he has an impeccable injury-free record after being rushed back from injury.

That’s because the opposition stopped crosses when DCL was on and were happy to let crosses come in to Maupay.

He's never looked that player should have taken the money and run same with Gordon never ever will be at that level either of them they don't have the mentality.
Which can be said of most of the squad only Richarlison and to a lesser extent Mina have had that winning mentality and desire.

Maybe partly but our wingers constantly delay rather than putting a cross in, or cut back and pass it back to our midfield.
