He has just regressed on the dribble as opposed to what we saw coming back from injury. Some players never get over their clumsy streak no matter how hard they try. He would definitely be a better fit at a club that gets crosses in where his on the ball skills won’t be as vital.
I don't think he was ever good at dribbling and taking on his defender. But he was a good fit in a superior team under Ancelotti which possessed Digne, James and Richy for example.
In this current team you need a fighter / someone who can create more on his own
 
The market is nearly closed any one good has been signed up ..... as for our deadwood the clear-out should have started straight away just to get them off the wage bill .....
 


After all this I really hope after all this the contract offer's not still on the table. His performances say this isn't a 130k a week player, and the lack of interest in the market should be telling us that too.

The worst thing that happens is that he sees there's no interest and he begrudgingly signs a contract for financial security. He shouldn't be given that option.
